The New Yorker: "Complexity and the Ten-Thousand-Hour Rule"
[English version below]
Complexity and the Ten-Thousand-Hour Rule
by Malcolm Gladwell
link do FB

Apparently, this article shows a deeper understanding of sports than of music. Not that I'm an expert (far from it), but, based on the little I know, Satie and Paganini, as composers, may be disqualified for the 10,000-hour rule, in the same way that high jumping, skeleton, darts, wrestling, and sprinting were in sports.
